Just Married!

Well it's a little over a week since Bryce and I got married and we are so very happy! It seems like a long time ago! The summer has certainly flown by. We start school again this Monday and our looking forward to it. I am really having a fun time with my job which I will be able to keep during the school year and my credit load is the lightest it has been in a long time! We are still waiting on pictures from our photographer but I thought I could post atleast one photo! I promise more to come!

Bridal Shower/Bachelorette

Phew these last few weeks have been very busy and stressful trying to wrap things up at work so I'm not worrying during my time off and can focus on the wedding. But in spite of these hectic times I have managed to have a lot of fun too!

Last weekend my 'attendants' (aka best buds) hosted a wonderful Bridal Shower at my soon to be mother-in-laws' and then held a bachelorette party at my apartment. As most of you know none of us are into the stereotypical bridal shower or bachelorette party that most people are familiar with when they think of these events. We aren't into being pretentious or inappropriate. Also, my circle of friends and I rarely drink. So we held a potluck (bring your favorite recipe) for the bridal shower which was Disney Princess themed (yeah we're that mature). We had tons of fun just chatting away and eating and gushing over how cute Rhonda's puppy Chili is. I also received some wonderful and very useful gifts (minus the lingerie) The bachelorette was essentially a sleepover! We did facials, dyed Amanda's hair, giggled and ate tons of junk food! Silly girls!

I'm so blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life. They're the kind of friends that you know no matter how long it's been since you saw them, you can just pick up where you left off and I always feel encouraged and enriched by the time I spend with them.

Now we're two days away from the wedding and we are so excited! I'll try to post pictures when I get back from our honeymoon! Til then....
