After reading Organic Eloquence's recent post I wanted to post my own "little things" blog. It really came at a good time too. I just came back from a short vacation to a very crappy week at work, but this post really gave me some perspective on the whole situation. It's so easy to get wrapped up in what we're doing and to think that it's so unbelievably important, when well, it's really not. I never want to become someone where the job is everything to me and I neglect myself and my family and friends.
We can't control other people's actions, but we can control how we respond.
At the end of the day it's not your job that tucks you in, gives you a big hug, makes you dinner, or gives you puppy kisses.
