Well it's the end of the first week of winter term and what a busy week it has been between late opera rehearsal to early morning conducting class. Otherwise things are going well. I am really enjoying all of my classes and I think it will be an excellent term.

Over the break I had some time to really contemplate life goals and career goals and I made some important decisions. Although in the large scheme of things they are baby steps, they are still important. Two things I decided:

1. Apply to UDUB, U of O, UCSB and WOU (as a back up) for master's programs in vocal performance.

2. Audition for AIMS in Graz. (Summer vocal program).


I feel much better now that I have decided that I'm going to atleast try and just see how things go! I need to believe more in myself as well as believe that things will work out if I trust in God.


Other resolutions so to speak include:

1. Lowering my cholesterol

2. Continuing to learn to say no to doing too many things and saying yes to taking care of myself!
