COPY CAT: 30 Day Hubby Challenge (Thanks 31 Flavors!)

I'm completely ripping off this blog post from Adrienne!

It is very easy for women in particular I think to be quick to point out the negative traits of our husbands and my 31 flavors homegirl is right, it can really bring a brother ("brutha") down.

It's a 30 day challenge (yes, another 30 day challenge!) but this time you don't have to blog every day. In fact there's no blogging required! It seems simple enough, and you'd think that it's something that wives naturally do, but you'd be surprised. It's a 30 day challenge from Revive Our Hearts to encourage your hubby! There are only 2 rules.....

#1 You can't say anything negative or critical about your hubby to him or to anyone else for that matter.

#2 You must say something positive or admirable about your hubby to him and to someone else.

Tea

If you're not a tea person, this blog post isn't for you.

To aid my recent weight loss efforts, by curbing afternoon sugar cravings,  I have begun drinking more tea. It is very relaxing to enjoy a nice cup of tea.  And I mean really enjoy it...like with frilly tea cups and a teapot.  My main tea of choice is either an earl grey or a licorice spice tea made by stash. Aside from curbing afternoon cravings, learning to enjoy tea serves as an excellent example of learning to slow down and be thoughtful, something that becomes increasingly difficult in our culture. I find that it also helps clear my head when I start getting the 3'oclock blah at work.

It is funny how we like things in adulthood that we hated as children.  I HATED tea as a kid, but now like a good wine or beer it is really special to enjoy a fine cup of tea. I love sitting at my desk with my little teapot and gold rimmed teacup sipping my tea while I watch the rain fall, which is most days, because it's Oregon. Ha ha.

That is all.
