The Art of Conducting

Conducting is difficult! I'm in my fourth week of conducting and I still feel so awkward up on the podium trying to conduct. There are so many things to think about and it's easy to focus in on something and forget to do the beat pattern correctly. I can't help but laugh at myself sometimes because my brain and arms just do not seem to communicate well all the time. I am so thankful that my classmates are very patient with me!
