Create-A-Memory. As you can see in the picture above, we painted him all kinds of crazy colors and we had a great time doing it. Although it looks like a five year old painted it, we still cherish Piggy (yes that is his proper name) and fill him up with spare change as we find it.
We have made a tradition of emptying Piggy as well. Every March 14th, which is our dating anniversary, is also "Piggy Day" and we empty him and count up the money like eager children and take it to the bank. One year we had almost a $100! Other years it's like $20, but we use it on whatever we want, usually a dinner out or something just plain silly.

How funny! As Rob and I were packing we found our colorfully painted piggy bank. He was awfully heavy and we didn't want to have to pack him that way. So, we dumped him out and ran the treasures through a change machine. Almost $39.00! We were giddy with excitement. Next stop was the Farmer's Market. We bought all of our produce for the next week, including a pound of our favorite grass fed local beef and still had change left over! Loving our piggy. Thank you!
